The Robotics Research Institute deals with current challenges of robotics. The research and development activities of the IRF are focused on robot assisted Automation Solutions, Intelligent Environments, Autonomous Robotics, and Resource Management. It is led by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Uwe Schwiegelshohn and is supported by the Faculties of Electrical Enigineering & Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science.
